Jeff has been building and remodeling homes for three decades. Licensed since 1978 (CCB #23482), he is a Portland Home Builder Association member, a U.S. Department of Energy Builders Challenge member, and an Energy Star Homebuilder. Jeff has a passion for contemporary architecture, and for changing the way houses are built and the way they look — bringing a responsible new aesthetic to our neighborhoods. He has earned a reputation as a responsible, hands-on professional who takes care of the details.

You can often hear him talking about an elegant balance between design, sustainability, and budget.

Matt has over a decade of experience designing homes that respond to context and environment while exploiting the client’s personality and lifestyle. Subscribing to Modernism as a philosophy more than a style, he feels that a modern home can take on many shapes, colors, and textures but should always carefully consider its relationship to site, natural elements and occupants. This is evident in a diverse portfolio of custom homes and remodels that proves Modern can be warm and inviting, sleek and minimal, or an interpretation of traditions.

Along side his work being recognized for design, sustainability has always been a primary consideration in Matt’s work. He has lectured on sustainable building strategies, authored a published book on “efficient living”, and designed homes that met and received certification by the most respected building standards including LEED for Homes and Passive House.
